Dental Insurance
We offer many carriers and options for group and individual dental insurance, in Oregon and Washington. Group dental plans are usually PPO plans with in-network providers, but also with out of network coverage. Out of network dental providers usually receive about 90% of what the fees they want, but there can be balance billing for dental services outside of the network. Some dental plans may have waiting periods before basic or major dental services, ans some carriers do not have the waiting periods, or may give credit towards the waiting period, if members have prior dental plans. Annual benefit maximums usually range from about $1,000, and is available up to about $2,500 of annual benefit. Sometimes orthodontics is available for children or adults. Pediatric Preventive Dental is required, and is bundles in many plans, and available for stand-alone purchase.
