PacificSource recently announced several upcoming business changes due to ongoing pressures across the healthcare industry, including plans to exit the individual market across all states and discontinue certain lines of business and service areas over time.

At Laughlin Insurance, we want our clients and community to know that we are here to help — just as we have been for nearly 30 years serving the Oregon and Washington health insurance markets.

PacificSource has stated that existing contracts and coverage remain in place during the applicable coverage period, and there are currently no immediate changes to member coverage. The company also stated that its goal is to minimize disruption and support continuity of care wherever possible as additional transition details develop.

While many timelines and future changes are still being finalized, now is a good time for individuals, Medicare beneficiaries, and employer groups to begin preparing early for future coverage options and upcoming enrollment periods.
