Many companies continue health insurance for furloughed workers

Millions of Americans have lost their jobs. Fortunately, many of their former employers are working to make sure they don’t lose their health coverage, too. Macy’s furloughed most of its 125,000 employees in late March. But the retail giant has continued providing health benefits. Marriott, Kohl’s, the Gap, and numerous other employers large and small have followed suit.
